Hey, we’re reporting from AWP (and by “we” I mean me and the Medela Pump n’ Style–more about that later). I’ll give you an update on the panel later, as well. It was so fun!
But I wanted to let you know that I’m also over at nytimes.com as a guest blogger on motherlode today. Check it out.

FANTASTIC — that NY Times gig. It was a beautiful piece. How did that happen? (not how did you write it, but how did you get the nytimes thing?)

The piece at the motherlode is lovely.

Thank you!
Elizabeth, Lisa Belkin of motherlode put a call out for submissions last fall…
I am so touched by the comments that motherlode readers posted about it, as well. Thank you!

Kate, that is a wonderful piece of writing. The descriptions of Stella in the NICU are heartbreaking and beautiful. It’s just beautifully written, and feels so true.

Obviously catching up late with you–but hey this was posted the day I gave birth. That was flipping fantastic–and I left a comment there, too. I know that your whole book is wonderful–it’s nice to catch snippets of it here and there. It must get published! What’s wrong with publishers??
