beth kephart: more love

Last week, I interviewed Beth Kephart and wrote about how much her writing has meant to me over the years. That’s one of the things I do here, of course–I write about and interview authors I admire. I describe how their work has affected me and changed the way I see and write the world.

But today, as part of my blog book tour for Ready for Air, I’m honored to say that Beth has written about me, about my work. Please check out her lovely post. Thank you, Beth, for your kind words and for that gorgeous photo, which sends my heart into my throat.

* And don’t forget to comment here by this Friday, October 11th, for a chance to win a copy of Beth’s Handling the Truth.

  1. An editor (Anika Streitfeld) just recommended this book to me yesterday!

  2. I loved this line: “We see what it is—feel what it is—to be subject to so many unknowns, and we lean forward with Kate, hope for all that she hopes for, celebrate all she finally has to celebrate.”
