hallie sawyer

Hallie Sawyer is another one of those amazing women I got to know through her blog. Hallie is a freelance writer working on her first novel (which I’m so excited to someday read). She’s also a mother to three adorable kiddos and she’s a fitness maven. (And though I haven’t taken her advise about interval workouts, I love to think about them as I’m running my slowish four miles.) And I love her posts about family, posts like this one about finding your own cozy, about appreciating the quiet moments, about carving out more relaxed and less scheduled days.

Hallie does book reviews, as well, so I was thrilled that she agreed to be a part of the Ready for Air tour.

Hallie writes:

[Ready for Air] is a wonderful reminder of how precious life is and how easily it can take a sharp turn, no matter how careful we are and how much we try to plan. This is a great book for all women, not just mothers, as well as men…

Thank you so much, Hallie, for your kind words and for being part of the blog book tour! Please check out Hallie’s wonderful blog.

  1. “no matter how careful we are and how much we try to plan.” That about sums it up. I wonder why any of us assumed those things would protect us? Who sold us that message?

  2. You are so very welcome, Kate. I feel the same way about you and your blog! Even though my blog is all over the place (in terms of topics), it helps me build relationships with all types of people: mothers, writers, readers, exercisers, etc. My life is sort of all over the place and I’m not surprised my blog is too!

I can’t wait to see where your publishing road takes you and I wish you all the success in the world. You have such a gift and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing it. xox

    • Thank you, my dear! And your blog isn’t all over the place in a bad way at all. It’s such a treat to visit because I know what I read will be interesting, and you do such a great job of alternating topics! xox

  3. I love interval workouts. Every time I run I can remind myself I get to stop in just a few minutes… or that whatever it is I’m doing won’t last long. 🙂 And I also loved Hallie’s review of Ready for Air.
