Today the blog book tour stop is over at Megan Flatt’s wonderful blog. Megan is a kindred spirit, helping moms meet their goals, carve out time for themselves, and get back in touch with their passions. She teaches the six-week online course Find Your Mama Groove to help busy moms get back in (and stay in) their groove, which I think it so fabulous.
Thank you so much for your kind words about Ready for Air, Megan. A line that really resonated with Megan was in the scene when I first visit Stella in the NICU. She’s hooked up to a ventilator, goggles covering her eyes. In that moment I think, “Nothing is as it should be.”
Megan writes, “This line really struck me; first of all, I counted my blessing that I was able to have my slime-covered babies on my chest right after birth (see above photo.) But this line also made me think about how really, in our own ways, we go into motherhood with a set of ideals, with visions on how things will go and we quickly learn that things don’t always go as we had planned in our heads. This realization, for a planner like me, has been hard part of motherhood to come to terms with.”
